Terms of Service

By accessing or using RODENCE ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing to these Terms on behalf of that organization, and you represent that you have the authority to bind the organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

RODENCE is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed for pest control businesses. The Service includes tools for:

Customer and property management

Job scheduling and dispatch

Technician management and GPS tracking

Invoice generation and payment processing

Customer portal and communication tools

Analytics and reporting

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration

Maintain and promptly update your account information

Maintain the security of your account credentials

Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

You may not use another person's account without their explicit permission. One organization may have multiple users under a single subscription plan, subject to the limits of your plan.

Plans

The Service is offered on the plans described on our Pricing page. Plan limits (users, customers, jobs per month) are enforced by the platform. The Solo plan is free, with no time limit, and is the way to try Rodence before you pay.

Prepaid billing

Growth and Commercial are prepaid for a month or a year at a time. Prices are in Indian rupees and exclude GST, which is added at 18%. You pay online from Billing in the app (at app.rodence.com), through Razorpay, to Quantum Culture Technologies, which operates Rodence. We may also accept payment by UPI or bank transfer. A GST tax invoice is issued for every payment and emailed to you.

No automatic charges

We never auto-debit your card or account. Nothing renews automatically: a plan runs until the end date shown in Billing, and you decide whether to renew.

No refunds

Payments are non-refundable. A period you have paid for is not refunded, in whole or in part, if you stop using the Service, move to a lower plan or close your account. If a payment is taken twice or for the wrong amount by mistake, contact us and we will refund or credit the excess.

Reminders, grace period and moving to Solo

We email the account owner 7 days and 1 day before your plan ends, and on the end date. After the end date you have a 7-day grace period in which your plan keeps working and you can renew. If you have not renewed by the end of the grace period, the account moves to the free Solo plan. All of your data is kept. Records above the Solo limits stay readable, but you cannot add new ones beyond those limits until you renew or upgrade.

Renewals and upgrades

Renewing the same plan adds the new period on after your current end date, so you never lose days already paid for. An upgrade to a higher plan applies immediately; the new plan's period is added on after your current end date. There is no proration and no partial charge. Moving to a lower plan is possible when your current period ends.

Founding offer

The first 25 paying firms can take Growth for ₹9,999 + GST a year, paid yearly. The offer is one per firm. When you renew for the second year, the same ₹9,999 + GST price applies. From the third year the plan renews at the list price.

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights

Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful software

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure

Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without our written permission

Resell, sublicense, or transfer access to the Service to third parties

Use the Service for any purpose that competes with our business

Harass, abuse, or harm another person or organization

Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications without consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms.

Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service ("Customer Data"), including customer records, job history, invoices, and any other content. We do not claim ownership of your Customer Data.

License to Us

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your Customer Data solely to provide the Service to you.

Data Processing

We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Data Export

You may export your Customer Data at any time from within the Service. We provide CSV export functionality for all major data types.

Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed by the other party that is designated as confidential or that reasonably should be understood to be confidential.

This obligation does not apply to information that:

Is or becomes publicly available through no fault of the receiving party

Was already known to the receiving party prior to disclosure

Is independently developed by the receiving party without use of confidential information

Is required to be disclosed by law or court order

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and other content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by RODENCE and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes. This license does not include the right to:

Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service

Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Service

The Service integrates with third-party services including Razorpay (through Quantum Culture Technologies) for Rodence plan payments, Stripe for card payments your customers make to you, Cloudinary for file storage, Twilio for SMS, and Google Maps for location services. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services. We make no warranties regarding any third-party service.

We aim to provide the Service with at least 99.5% uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance. We will provide at least 24 hours advance notice for planned maintenance that affects service availability.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. We are not liable for any losses or damages arising from service interruptions, unless caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PESTCONTROL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

By You

Because plans are prepaid and never renew automatically, you can simply not renew. You may also turn off renewal reminders in Billing. Your paid plan keeps working until its end date; no refund is due for the rest of the period (see section 4). You can ask us to close your account at any time.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if we determine that continued service poses a risk to us or other users.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, during which you may export it. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
